I have finally put it all together, and compiled the list of John's "Hidden Treasures".
I'm calling them that because these were "lost files" on John's computer, due to some hard drive crashes, and various problems John had with his computer. I helped him sort out his computer problems, but in the backup that I made for him, there were literally hundreds of "lost files". These were files that had lost the "dot-extension" that PC's and windows based computers use to know what kind of file it has to deal with. So after some fairly creative efforts to rebuild and re-translate the files, and convert them to web format I was able to show them to John, and let him decide which ones to publish.
This was quite a fun adventure for me, as I had to "think outside the box" a bit to get this done, and through the process, I had a great time discovering all these new devotionals. As it turns out, some of these are quite old; where I was able to determine the dates, I have included them in the files as part of the header. What is most fascinating to me is that John has been writing these devotionals for a long time, and throughout the years, the quality has been very consistently good (in my opinion).
I would really like to hear your thoughts on this new group of devotionals, and what you think of the website in general. I can always use more feedback. I would like to make this site as easy to use as possible, as well as put interesting and thought provoking reading material for your benefit. If nothing else, I hope that these devotionals make you think about the topics that John writes about.
I hope that you have as much fun reading these as I did discovering them.
