Harris Outdoors

A LITTLE ABOUT US:

My name is Daniel Harris. I am a teacher at Thomas Downey High School. I teach Mathematics, Physical Science, and Advanced Placement Physics. I also coach our Science Olympiad and Science Bowl team. When school is not in session I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. I enjoy all kinds of activities including day hikes, backpack trips, fishing, and mountaineering. A great deal of the outdoor activity is spent with my wife Lynn and my colleague Joel Ward. My 5 year old is very much into getting outdoors.

I grew up in East Africa and have made many safaris there. I spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors. I enjoy backpacking and mountain climbing.
